Dr. Nilotpal Deka completed MBBS and MS general surgery from Gauhati Medical College and hospital in 2013. He joined fellowship in minimal access surgery under guidance of Prof Dr Subhash Khanna and successfully completed the 1 year course conducted by SSUHS. H has worked as a junior consultant in Swagat superspeciality hospital for 3 years and as a deputy consultant in GNRC AMINGAON for 3 years. Presently he is working as a consultant in the department of laparoscopic and general surgery of akanksha hospital. During this 8 years period as a surgeon he has done around 1500 laparoscopic surgeries and have been a part of another 1000 laparoscopic surgeries as a co surgeon.
